Giants' Luke Robinson on Salford City Reds clash
HUDDERSFIELD scrum half Luke Robinson is expecting some special attention from Salford as the Giants look to get back to winning ways in Super League on Friday night.
The former Reds player is looking for revenge for the 24-4 home defeat the Lancastrians inflicted on the Giants a little over a month ago – and for Nathan Brown’s team to bounce back from Friday’s disappointing 13-6 home defeat at the hands of Castleford.
However, he knows from experience just what winning at The Willows entails.
"Salford is just one of those places and it can be buzzing at times," said the 24-year-old.
"I know from playing there that the atmosphere is decent and that is why they have such a good home record, so it will be tough, but hopefully we can go and get a result."
Robinson expects a warm reception from home fans and former teammates alike.
"It does add a bit more spice when you know a lot of the players at a club," said Robinson.
"Maybe I might be in for a little bit of special attention, but that is just what makes games like these a little bit more special.
"But essentially all we can do is focus on the game and hopefully produce the performance that will get us the result."
