Darrell Griffin looks to reclaim place

And Griffin is convinced that with the quality of the current Giants this year can get even better.
“There’s no question this is the best squad I’ve ever worked with,” added the Oxford-born forward.
“We’ve got quality and depth throughout the squad, and that’s what you obviously need if you’re going to have a successful season.
“But, as I said, that means no-one can take their place for granted, especially us in the front row.
“Personally, I think Keith Mason has had a fantastic year. He’s looked incredibly strong and has been playing big minutes.
“In fact, when the England squad was announced last month and he wasn’t in it, I rang him up to say how disappointed I was for him. He deserved to be there.
“Eorl was obviously included, and quite rightly. He’s again been great for us.
“But Jacko has also been superb. What he does isn’t fancy, but it’s highly effective and is very much appreciated by his teammates.
“And now we’ve got Scully on board, who will offer us something that bit different. He’s going to be great for us between now and the end of the season.
“All in all, it’s looking great for us as a club, and I just hope I’ll have a key part to play in the months ahead.”
