Forward march for Giants

GIANTS assistant coach Paul Anderson was full of praise for the side as David Faiumu inspired a 30-14 home success over Wakefield.
The Kiwi grabbed two important tries as Huddersfield moved into third place in Super League.
“We gave David a start and I thought he looked good,” said Anderson.
“He is very strong and, with his quick footwork, he is a real threat.
“He’s a pretty sizeable fellow and he going to cause a lot of problems for a lot of teams.”
Faiumu scored his tries directly from acting half back, as did opening try-scorer Scott Moore, but Anderson felt it was more down to the team’s ability to seize their opportunities as opposed to any specific ploy.
“We have got some quality in our personnel and if our players see a chance to get over the line they will take it,” said Anderson.
“Having said that, that is what we pay their wages for.”
There was another strong display from Keith Mason in the pack and Anderson agreed that his former St Helens teammate was in a rich vein of form.
