Harlequins' Robinson ready to rumble

Coach McDermott said: “Ryan has caught the eye of several of our coaches over the years at both reserves and youth level and he has been on our list for a while.

“With the recent injuries facing our squad, including Rob Purdham and Luke Dorn, we felt we needed to bring some cover in and I believe Ryan is a versatile player that can do a job for us.”

Esders joined the team for training on Monday and will be available for selection for the Giants clash.

“This club is developing a great reputation for bringing through young players and I’m really glad of the opportunity to play here,” said Esders.
