Giants boss Brown: We're looking in top shape

GIANTS chief Nathan Brown believes his side have taken a massive step in securing a home Super League play-off spot.
On the day Giants chairman Ken Davy announced his club’s season-ticket deals for 2010 and emphasised the importance of securing bumper sales to guarantee future success, Huddersfield made it 14 wins from 21 top-flight starts with a 28-10 home triumph over Warrington .
A fourth straight win strengthened their grip on third place in the Super League table, and put them three points ahead of fourth-placed Hull KR with just six rounds of the regular season remaining.
It also put even more distance between themselves and the rest of the chasing play-off pack, including the Wolves.
And at this stage of the season, Brown believes that’s hugely significant.
“I still feel St Helens and Leeds are likely to finish in the top two,” he said.
“But if we can win some more games at the back end of the season then there’s no reason why we can’t finish in the top four.
“The good thing is that it’s in our own hands.
“But the key is making sure we build on this result.
“You can’t turn form on and off. We’ve got some momentum going at the moment and we’ve got to carry that through.
“The reward for finishing in the top four is obviously a home shot in the play-offs, and I’d like to think this win over a good Warrington side is a sign that our home form is coming good, as well.
