Huddersfield Giants season-ticket deal announced

GIANTS chairman Ken Davy believes he has managed to keep Super League XV season-ticket prices as cheap as possible.
The Galpharm chief yesterday announced the club’s ticket deals for 2010.
Although there is an increase on last year’s massive one-off discounted offers, prices for next season are still cheaper than they were in 2006 and cater for a wide range of budgets.
They start from £95 for adults for the 13 top-flight fixtures at the Galpharm as the Giants offer fans the chance to sit in the Fantastic Media lower tier (behind the posts) for the first time.
But supporters do have the chance to snap up a ticket for just £60 if they can add a new family member or friend to the club’s season-ticket base.
This season, the Giants boast 5,500 season-ticket holders as they look to secure average home crowds of 10,000 in the next few years.
And with the new season-ticket packages being launched at a time when the Giants are third in Super League and in the semi-final of the Challenge Cup, Davy is hoping uptake is high.
“Season-ticket numbers remain the most important way in which supporters can help the Huddersfield Giants progress,” he said.
“Given the excitement and support last year’s one-off cut-price offer created, we have strived very hard to continue the vibrant and freshness in this year’s packages.
