“But I believe I’ve got the type of game that’s suited to facing a side like New Zealand.
“I’ve played against them before and know how physical they play the game. They like to shoot out and try and take your head off, but I enjoy that challenge and I think it brings the best out of me.
“I just hope Tony thinks the same way.”
Crabtree’s appearance last weekend was his first since undergoing minor surgery on his right knee a month ago.
And he reported no problems on that front during the contest and is confident it will be the same for the Galpharm fixture.
“I didn’t feel the knee at all, which was obviously a big bonus. In fact, I even stepped a couple of times because it felt that strong,” he added.
“So I know I shouldn’t have any problems on that front if I play. That’s added to my confidence.”
