Huddersfield Giants star Eorl Crabtree’s testimonial shirts go on sale

A LIMITED edition of Eorl Crabtree testimonial shirts, co-designed by the man himself, have gone on sale.

The special edition shirt will be worn in the England prop’s testimonial match, which is being re-arranged against Halifax for a new date next January, and also features the company logos of testimonial jersey sponsors Dual Seal Glass, Disposables UK Group, Arrow Self Drive and Learner Driver.

And Crabtree is hoping it proves a big hit.

“It was a great experience contributing to the design of the testimonial jersey,” he said.

“Being a trendy young person, I wanted a modern design, and we are the first to use the official testimonial logo as the centre piece of the branding. I hope the design proves popular.”

To celebrate the launch of the distinctive shirt, Crabtree will be signing the top-quality garment at the Sporting Pride shop on Cloth Hall Street tomorrow from 1.30-2.30pm.

The shirt, produced by Giants kit supplier Kooga, is priced at £49 for adults and £39 for children and is now available from Huddersfield Giants club shops at Galpharm Stadium and in Cloth Hall Street in the town centre. It is also available on-line at www.fellpromotions.co.uk or at Fell Promotions shop at 537 New Hey Road, Mount.

But Crabtree and his testimonial committee have linked up with the Examiner to offer one lucky reader the chance to win one of the shirts, autographed by the Giants star.

The shirt will be presented by Crabtree to the winner in the Galpharm Stadium players’ bar at the end of a Super League game of their choice, with two tickets to that fixture and access to the players’ area included in the exclusive prize package.
