Brett Hodgson column: Getting an injury can be a real pain!

Even though we lost to Warrington last weekend, the mood around the place is still pretty positive, because we could count ourselves so unlucky not to have won.
That was reinforced by Browny and Baloo (assistant coach Paul Anderson) on Monday during our review of the game.
They’re very good at piecing clips together to highlight the positives and negatives from our performance, and there were certainly a fair share of positives.
That’s ensured we all remain upbeat as a group, but the game was put to rest very quickly and we’ve moved straight on to our match at Wakefield tomorrow.
It’s another tough contest, but we know we remain on the right track, despite our defeat to Warrington, and hopefully we’ll prove that tomorrow night.
EVEN though last weekend proved bitterly disappointing, a number of players should have been encouraged by their performances.
In my eyes several players must have been in the running for the man-of-the-match award.
Judging on the first half, Kevin Brown was an obvious candidate, while I think we were all delighted to see Paul Whatuira, pictured, playing so strongly in the centres.
In the pack, David Fa’alogo is beginning to find his feet, and Martin Aspinwall came in for the first time and showed he’ll do a really solid job for us this year.
There were others who also played well, which shows we’re not that far away to hitting the form we know will make us an even harder team to beat.
