Huddersfield Giants' Wild to make return against Wigan

STEPHEN WILD will make his Giants Super League return at home to former club Wigan at the Galpham Stadium on Sunday.
The 28-year-old back-row forward has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury during the 24-6 home defeat to St Helens on March 28.
That was just three games into a return to action following pre-season surgery on his other knee.
Wild has been able to train fully for several weeks, and coach Nathan Brown is hoping the Wigan-based player can now put his injury nightmares behind him.
“It’s been a very tough time for Wildy, and we all hope he can now finally get his season going,” said Brown.
“He is a very valuable member of this team and it will be good to have him back.
“His return is particularly timely, particularly with David Fa’alogo sidelined for a few more weeks.”
Wild will be looking to make a big impact for the rest of the season as he is out of contract at the end of the season and will obviously be looking to secure a new deal sooner rather than later.
That, however, may well be away from the Galpharm, especially with speculation increasing that Hull’s goalkicking second-row forward Danny Tickle could be heading to the Giants.
