THE Giants have been handed another early-season Sky TV fixture.
Super League bosses have confirmed the round VI clash against champions Wigan Warriors at the Galpharm Stadium has been switched to Friday, March 18 (8pm) so it can be screened live by the satellite broadcaster. It was originally scheduled for Sunday, March 20.
And the change means Huddersfield will now feature SIX times on Sky in the first nine weeks of the season.
As well as the Wigan date, the home game against Warrington Wolves on Friday, April 8 will also be on Sky, while the away games against Castleford Tigers, Harlequins and Hull KR are others to be televised.
But the first appearance on television in 2011 for coach Nathan Brown’s men will be in the Super League XVI opener against Warrington at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium as part of Magic Weekend.
