Huddersfield Giants sont en haut des tableaux comme ils se dirigent vers la France: That means the Giants are back at the top as they head to Catalans

HUDDERSFIELD Giants head to Catalan Dragons on Saturday back at the top of Super League XVI.

Head coach Nathan Brown’s men turned on the second-half style to secure a nine-try 52-22 home triumph over Salford last night to move one point clear of the chasing pack.

Despite making eight changes to the side that suffered that shock 32-6 defeat to bottom club Crusaders in Wrexham on Friday, Huddersfield proved far too strong for the City Reds.

And with youngsters Joe Wardle, Kyle Wood, Jamie Cording and Jon Molloy all playing big roles, assistant coach Paul Anderson knows the Giants’ future looks bright.

“We’ve a pretty big, healthy squad and credit has got to go to the young guys who came in and proved to us they are Super League players,” said Anderson, who has had a busier coaching role this week after Brown’s wife Tanya gave birth to their son, Jaxson, at the weekend.
