Leroy Cudjoe can’t wait for massive Huddersfield Giants play-off test against Leeds Rhinos

FIT-AGAIN Leroy Cudjoe is ready for a crunch battle against Leeds tonight and promised: “I’m determined to make the most of it.”

The 23-year-old England centre returns to action at the Galpharm after recovering from the knee problem which kept him out of the side which lost 47-0 at Super League table toppers Warrington seven days ago.

When Cudjoe suffered his injury in the narrow 31-24 home defeat to Leeds on September 11, it was feared his season could be over.

But he is back and confident he can help inspire his side to the win which would take them to within one match of the Grand Final at Old Trafford.

“I couldn’t believe how tough it was watching the boys struggle at Warrington. That’s because I couldn’t do anything about it.

“But I can this time and I’m determined to be part of a side that wins.

“To be back is a fantastic feeling.

“After thinking 12 days ago that my season could be over, I feel as if this is my second chance, and I’m going to make sure I make the most if it.”

The Giants are boosted by the return of Dale Ferguson and Joe Wardle.
