ROBBIE Hunter-Paul is back!

The 35-year-old rugby league superstar will today start work as the Giants’ business development manager.

The move marks a return to the Galpharm Stadium for the former New Zealand Test star, who spent two successful Super League seasons with Huddersfield between 2006 and 2007. It is Hunter-Paul’s first full-time off-the-field post since he retired as a player with Co-operative Championship club Leigh Centurions at the end of last season.

But having become one of the game’s most recognisable figures since arriving at Bradford Bulls from his native New Zealand in 1994, Hunter-Paul looks tailor-made for a new role where he will be charged with the task of expanding the Giants’supporter and corporate base.

“I couldn’t be happier about becoming a member of the Huddersfield Giants family once again,” said a delighted Paul, who is also making a successful name for himself as a pundit on BBC TV.
