KEVIN BROWN can already see why so many clubs were keen to sign new Giant Jason Chan.
The 27-year-old back-row forward has joined Huddersfield on a three-year contract after gaining a big Super League reputation during his time at Crusaders.
Papua New Guinea international Chan, who weighs in at over 16 stone and is 6ft 2in tall, arrived at the Galpharm two weeks ago and in that time has shown everyone what he can do.
And Giants captain Brown thinks that’s a very exciting prospect.
“We’ve all been blown away with what Jason can do,” said Brown.
“After Jason tore us apart when the Crusaders beat us on Easter Monday we knew we were getting a top player, and that’s been reinforced now he’s training with us.
“In the few weeks he’s been here we can all see why so many Super League clubs were keen to sign him. We’ve done very well to get him.
