Huddersfield Giants star Luke Robinson determined to see his side get back to winning Super League ways at London Broncos
LUKE ROBINSON is expecting the Giants to ‘fight for their lives’ at London Broncos tomorrow.
The Giants remain in the leading Super League pack despite their first defeat of the season to Warrington and are aiming to get straight back on track (2.00).
England hooker Robinson is confident they will, providing the team ethic stays solid.
“A feature of our performances so far is the way we’ve been prepared to work for each other,” said Robinson.
“That’s been a conscious effort from all of us. We’re determined not to let each other down and we’re going to die trying, that’s our pledge to each other.
“These were the qualities that got us such a long way when Browny first arrived here just over three years ago and, with the quality and depth of the squad we’ve now got, we know that could get us a very long way again.”
Robinson added: “Even though we lost to Warrington it’s far from doom and gloom, because we know how close we came to winning, despite not playing to anywhere near our full potential.
“A few little things let us down and we’ve been working on putting that right in training in the hope of producing it against the Broncos.
“We’ve got a good recent record down there and, if we continuing to keep on improving, we know that record can continue.”
