“Having played in Hull derbies myself I know how tough they can be. There’ll have been plenty of bumps and bruises knocking around, and it’s up to us to capitalise on that.
“Yet have said that, I know we have the ability to get the job done regardless.
“We’ve already shown on a number of occasions this season what we’re capable of doing, and if we play to our potential we know we’ll be good enough to get the two points.
“Although this is a tough time of the year, we’ve got a relatively fit and fresh squad.
“Confidence is high in the camp, and we’re going into every game knowing teams are going to have to do something pretty special to beat us.
“Hull may be second, but that’s just going to make us even more determined to play well against them.”
And Lee is eager to produce a strong individual display against the club where his professional career got under way.
“I’m feeling really good about the way things are going for me at the moment,” he added.
“My man-of-the-match award against Salford was the first one I’ve picked up at first-team level and I can’t wait to build on that against Hull today.”
