NATHAN BROWN is confident rested duo Scott Grix and Jermaine McGillvary will come back firing.
Both backs were left out of the Giants squad that suffered Monday night’s 44-26 Super League home defeat at the hands of in-form Hull KR.
It was the first time Huddersfield have suffered five successive top-flight losses during Brown’s four-year reign.
But the Galpharm chief is already planning on bringing the pair back – they’ve been virtual ever-presents this season and are carrying slight niggles – for the home clash against struggling London Broncos on Sunday week.
“Things haven’t been going well for a number of people in recent weeks, including Grixy and Jerry,” said Brown.
“But they’ve both been good players for us over the past two years and they’ll be good for us again.
“We know how much they’ll be looking forward to getting back out there for us in the next couple of weeks.”
And Brown also revealed half-back Grix and winger McGillvary stepped aside in order to give fit-again Tommy Lee and Aaron Murphy run-outs.
“Tommy was playing really well for us before his knee injury two months ago, so it was good to get him back the other night,” added Brown.
