HUDDERSFIELD Giants coach Paul Anderson has freshened up his Super League squad by signing Warrington Wolves hooker Brad Dwyer on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old will train with his new club today and be available for selection for Sunday’s home game against Hull KR.

Dwyer will provide cover for regular Huddersfield No9s Shaun Lunt and Luke Robinson, with Anderson believing his arrival is just what the  Giants need right now.

“Brad is very quick and smart out of dummy half and will bring something new to the team," explained Anderson.

"He is keen to have a shot at Super League after debuting a while back now and it gives me some rotation consideration for some of our middle men who have already played long minutes this year. I would like to thank Tony Smith and the Warrington club for allowing us to bring in Brad.”

Dwyer made his debut in Super League last year with 10 appearances in all for the Wolves before spending time on dual registration in the Championship with Swinton Lions this season where he crossed for two tries in three appearances.
