WIGANER Shaun Wane has clearly stamped his personality on the Warriors dressing room.
The tough, no-nonsense head coach took over from Michael Maguire last year and had one of the hardest acts to follow in his former Super League and Challenge Cup winning superior.
He seems to be doing a fine job so far, though, guiding his beloved Wigan to the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup and to the Minor Premiership.
But the lack of a major trophy in 2012 – they did, of course, collect the League Leader’s Shield – will have been a huge disappointment to Wane, and he will be hoping that 2013 is the year in which they go that extra step.
