I’D just like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to all the Giants fans who have been in touch with me since it was announced I’d be leaving and joining Widnes at the end of the season.
The decision to leave is one of the toughest I’ve ever had to make.
Since the day I first arrived at Huddersfield in mid-2006, I’ve loved every single minute of it.
I was welcomed with open arms by the club and the fans, and Kirsty and myself really did find the ideal home from home here.
But all good things often come to an end, and that’s going to me the case for the young Brown family at the end of the season.
Fortunately, what has helped eased some of the pain over having to make such a hard decision is the overwhelming reaction of the fans since the announcement was made.
Every single message I’ve received has been positive, with the supporters thanking me for my contribution to the Giants cause over recent years and wishing me all the best in the future.
It’s hard to put into words how much messages like that mean for me. I just hope I can repay them by leading the Giants to a fantastic end to 2012!
