Nathan Brown looks to build on success

VICTORIOUS Giants coach Nathan Brown is hoping yesterday’s 40-16 Magic Weekend triumph over Celtic Crusaders will be the signal for a return to his side’s best Super League form.
Although his team were far from being at their best, they were still much too strong for the competition’s big strugglers.
And Brown now wants to kick on and make sure the heavy defeats at the hands of Leeds and Warrington in their previous two games soon became a very distant memory.
“We came here looking for a victory, and we got a win and will now be looking to push on,” said the Australian.
“As everyone knows we’ve been going through a bit of a lull, so we’ve got to be happy to get the win.
“It seems that over the past few weeks around the Easter period all sides have been a bit flat at some stage – St Helens have lost their last two games – and the key is just how quickly you can come out of it. I just hope we’re now starting to come out of ours.”
