AKPO SODJE scored the second goal of his Town trial to earn the Reserves a hard-fought draw at Throstle Nest last night.
Town started sloppily and went behind after only four minutes to a quickly-taken free-kick from Matt Smithard.
But the 22-year-old Sodje - striker brother of team captain Efe - put them back on terms eight minutes before the break.
While Town blew hot and cold, it was enough to prod them into taking charge of the second half as Farsley manager Lee Sinnott made a string of changes - including taking off ex-Town hero Jonathan Dyson with 65 minutes on the clock.
Cheered on by members of their their Norwegian supporters branch and Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter (Chastity Dingle), Farsley were unlucky not to take the lead after just 23 seconds as Matthew Bett unleashed a fierce low drive which Phil Senior did brilliantly to beat around his righthand post.
Senior and his defence were still organising themselves, however, when Smithard scored from 20 yards after a foul on the tricky Bett just a few minutes later.
