Scunthorpe 2, Huddersfield Town 2

A fierce drive from Sharp then skimmed off Rachubka's hands to be followed by a succession of corners not successfully cleared. Keogh took advantage with 20 minutes left, with help from a slight deflection off McIntosh.

Jackson, who had already deployed David Mirfin, sent on John McAliskey and Collins in an effort to save the game and he was rewarded when the Irish Youth cap sent in the sort of cross which would get David Beckham's seal of approval.

McIntosh did the rest, now for victory on Saturday!

Man of the Match: Tom Clarke

Made some surging runs in midfield and still did his fair share of showing for the ball and tackling. He looks an impressive option for manager Peter Jackson. Very positive performance

Turning point:

While substitute Michael Collins probably produced the moment of the game with his perfect cross for Martin McIntosh's late equaliser, Town would have been in desperate trouble at 2-0 down had Paul Rachubka, recalled to the side, not made an excellent block when left one-on-one with Billy Sharp after 35 minutes
