The early strike by Tom Clarke ended 343 minutes without a goal at the Galpharm and gave Town the platform from which to dominate the game.
Town had a let-off when Keigan Parker fired inches wide just before half time, but the clincher from Danny Schofield was no more than Town deserved for their efforts
