Huddersfield Town 5, MK Dons 0

Town pummelled the bottom placed Dons in the first half and, while Danny Wilson's substitutions made it harder work in the second, Town had five of their own players on the same scoresheet for the first time since Cardiff were thumped 5-1 in February 1995 (last season's haul against Wrexham included an own goal by Dolan).

It was high-octane stuff from Town, who had David Graham and Chris Brandon oozing class despite not getting themselves among the scorers.

Graham was involved in the build-up to the first three goals which McIntosh finished smartly from a Worthington cross on 19, Taylor-Fletcher headed in Dan Smith's excellent invitation on 24 and the skipper benefited directly from Graham's industry on 35. It could have been more as Andy Booth fired wide from a Graham step-over while at the other end Phil Senior didn't have a serious save to make as Nathan Clarke and Mirfin, at right-back, caught the eye.

Graham was unlucky not to earn a penalty, while Mirfin's goal 13 minutes from time (after a superb McIntosh header) was reward for some powerful runs.

It was left to Collins to have the last word and, if Fletch recovers from his knee injury, don't expect any changes for Friday night in Swansea.
