A GOOD week for Town and a great one for Pawel Abbott.
The 24-year-old fired a late winner to seal a second successive home win and put Peter Jackson's men sixth in the embryonic League I table.
Town had gone behind to a 49th-minute goal by Phil Jevons, and it took a fine save by Matt Glennon to deny the City striker a second.
A moment of pure penalty-area quality from Luke Beckett brought a 64th-minute equaliser.
And between then and Abbott's 90th-minute winner, there was time for a skirmish which involved most of the outfield players.
It erupted after Jackson swatted off Lee Johnson, the son of City manager Gary, as the visitors' substitute tried to retrieve the ball by the Town dug-out when he mistakenly thought his side had been awarded a throw-in.
The upshot, according to the Town manager, was that he was asked to take a seat in the stand by referee Paul Taylor, who also booked City's David Noble for his part in proceedings.
