Huddersfield Town 0, Doncaster Rovers 0

Turning Point: Any of the string of missed chances, the closest of which came by Town after 12 minutes when after some trickery by wideman Danny Schofield and a lay-off by Andy Booth, Pawel Abbott (pictured) fired goalwards only for Rovers left-back Gareth Roberts to deny him a fourth of the season by hooking the ball off the goalline.

How They Rated:

Matt Glennon Dealt well with what came his way to record a welcome second clean sheet in nine matches. Rating: 7/10

Tom Clarke Made a second start in place of shingles victim Andy Holdsworth and made a crucial blocking tackle on Lewis Guy. Rating: 7/10

Danny Adams The only old head in the back four, the left-back was durable and dependable in giving Town key solidity. Rating: 7/10

David Mirfin Very solid indeed. Made a number of key tackles when the pressure was on and headed bravely throughout. Rating: 8/10

Nathan Clarke A bright display by the skipper, who like brother Tom, made a vital tackle, in his case on James Coppinger. Rating: 7/10

Gary T-Fletcher Worked hard throughout and stood firm against Jason Price, who caught him with a loose elbow. Rating: 7/10

Michael Collins Punched above his weight in the tackling department and played some neat passes to catch the eye again. Rating: 8/10

Mark Hudson Worked hard all over the pitch and was unlucky not to count with at least one of his six efforts on the Doncaster goal. Rating: 7/10

Danny Schofield Quiet in spells but produced some nice moments of trickery, one of which almost led a 12th-minute goal. Rating: 7/10

Andy Booth Not at his most effective, but still kept Rovers on their toes until being replaced by Luke Beckett. Rating: 7/10

Pawel Abbott Unable to mark his return to the starting XI (in place of Beckett) with a goal, but it wasn't for the want of trying. Rating: 7/10

Spotlight on the Ref:

This wasn't the dirtiest of derbies, but it was fast and furious at times, and Nottinghamshire's Paul Joslin did a good job overall. He managed to keep the lid on the 31st-minute incident in which Jason Price caught Gary Taylor-Fletcher with an elbow, displeasing the nearby Town players, in particular captain Nathan Clarke.
