Match report: Brighton 0 - 1 Town

MATT GLENNON put his secret penalty-saving formula to good use once again as buoyant Town bagged back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
“The confidence is definitely back in the lads, the players have responded to the system Gerry is playing and we are believing in ourselves.
“We know we let ourselves down and the previous manager down, but we are showing now that we can kick on and, with two vital home games to come, we’ve got the chance to keep moving towards the top end of the table, which is where we should be.”
While open play was pretty much even, Town did string together some neat, attractive moves and nothing illustrated that better than the goal.
Craney was at the root of it, winning possession in the middle of the pitch as he did on so many occasions in his best performance of the season. A simple pass found the equally hard-working Worthington, who then sent Collins on a surging break.
