Match report: Brighton 0 - 1 Town
Nov 24 2008 by Mel Booth, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
MATT GLENNON put his secret penalty-saving formula to good use once again as buoyant Town bagged back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
His pass to the right allowed Parker to deliver a low curling cross which Roberts flipped back for Collins – continuing his run – to finish from close range.
It completed only a third-ever win for Town at Brighton, one which would have been more emphatic had Michel Kuipers not saved magnificently from Parker (twice) and from Roberts, whose fierce drive was blocked before the Collins follow-up was smothered.
Roberts, too, might have scored right at the end after Glennon had reacted smartly to deny loanee KevinThornton on a cracking break into the box.
But this was a job well done for Town. More of the same, please.
