Match report: Town Reserves 4 - 2 Grimsby Reserves

Parker’s double a delight for Clark
The Grimsby defence’s frustration at their inability to cope with Town’s pacy strikers became apparent when Curtis Ujah was booked for hacking down Parker on the edge of the box on 16 minutes. And former Grimsby player Jevons punished them further when he curled the resulting free-kick into the top corner.
Malvin Kamara, who recently spent a month on loan at Grimsby, worked tirelessly throughout the match, switching from left to right, popping up in support of the attack, while also providing key tackles in defence.
And just a minute after Jevons’ first goal, Kamara skinned Keil Thompson to pick out the scouser, but he shot over the bar when it looked easier to increase Town’s lead.
