Academy get YBS £95,000

TOWN will get a tremendous tonic from Yorkshire Building Society tomorrow.

At half time in the match against Swindon, YBS will present a cheque for £95,000.

It's a more than £10,000 increase on last season and is money generated from the savings of Town fans in the Terrier Account.

The money will go through the Development Association to the Academy.

"It's the biggest ever cheque presentation and reflects fantastic backing from the supporters and Yorkshire Building Society," said club spokesman Alisdair Straughan.

"The cash is a huge boost to the club and the Academy and we obviously hope the link-up with YBS and the Terrier Account goes from strength to strength."
