Debut on cards for Smithies

TOWN junior keeper Alex Smithies will get his first taste of England duty today.
The 15-year-old from Golcar is in the Under 17 squad for England's opening game of the Nordic Tournament against Finland in Reykjavic, Iceland.
Smithies may have to wait for a debut, however, when England play the Faroe Islands in Kopavogur tomorrow or Sweden in Akranes on Friday.
Kenny Swain's side are aiming to reach the play-off matches and final on Sunday before heading home the following day.
