Doug Thomson's top tips

TOWN have as good a chance as anybody of success this season.

While I doubt last season's superb closing run of eight wins in nine games would have been achieved had Jacko's boys really had a chance of making the play-offs, it will have helped spur confidence in a mainly young squad which has developed nicely.

Elsewhere, Town's first two opponents, Forest and Bristol City, must live up to the weight of expectation, while Oldham could be a force.
