Sodjes on show

FORMER Town players Akpo and Efe Sodje were in the thick of things for their current clubs on Saturday - but neither were celebrating.

Striker Akpo, age 25, was on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline for Darlington in their League II game at home to leaders Leyton Orient.

Darlo slipped to eighth as a result.

Meanwhile defender Efe's Yeovil were held 1-1 at home to Blackpool and are second bottom of League I.

The 32-year-old Nigerian international is pictured in action, right.

The third of the footballing Sodjes, 26-year-old defender Sam, played for Brentford at Port Vale last night.

The Bees could have gone top of League I, but lost 1-0 to a 53rd-minute goal by Vale's Michael Cummins.
