CHRIS BRANDON has been one of the most popular imports to Town in recent years.
Skilful, hard working and committed to the cause, he is one of those who fits easily into the mantra of effervescent manager Peter Jackson.
So, when Brandon says there's much more to come from him and the whole Town team when they are already sitting nicely in the League I table you tend to sit up and take notice.
"I think if you had offered us this start at the outset we would have taken it and I think we've played some good stuff," said the former Chesterfield and Torquay United player, who was on home turf in Bradford to watch the Reserves in midweek.
"But I know there's a lot more to come from me and all the lads because there are areas we can improve on.
"From my point of view I'm reasonably happy with how things have been going and I do feel I'm getting better.
"I played at Nottingham Forest on the opening day of the season when I was a bit under the weather and it probably took the stuffing out of me a bit.
"It took me a couple of games to get my full fitness back after that and that's why I know there's more in the tank, but I'm reasonably happy with my form over the last three or four games.
"The one thing I always say is that I would like to score more goals and, having got my first of the season under my belt at Doncaster, I hope to improve on last year's tally at least."
That was a total of six goals for the 29-year-old, who has been keen to make up for lost time in the professional game after arriving from the semi-pro ranks - Bradford Park Avenue - at the advanced age of 23.
