Capacity crowd on the cards

SATURDAY’S trans-Pennine FA Cup clash could well be a sell-out.

Tickets for the big fourth-round tie went on general sale at both clubs today, and were expected to be snapped up fast.

Town had around 1,000 of their 4,575 allocation remaining while Oldham, whose home holds 13,559, had just over 2,000.

Interest is high after the League I rivals disposed of Premier League opposition in round three.

Town beat Birmingham 2-1 while Oldham were 1-0 winners at Everton.

The Latics will have striker Lee Hughes banned after he picked up a fifth booking of the season in the 0-0 draw at Yeovil.
