Wales ace Page is signed up

TOWN today signed former Welsh international centre-back Robert Page from Coventry.

The 33-year-old has been released by the Sky Blues and has agreed a Galpharm contract until the end of the season.

Page, capped 40 times, has played only twice this season, with both outings coming in the League Cup.

That means he will be available for Saturday’s FA Cup clash at Oldham.

Page started his career at Watford before joining Sheffield United in a £350,000 deal in 2001.

He had a short spell at Cardiff before joining Coventry in February 2005.

“It’s the right time in his career for this move,” said Coventry boss Iain Dowie.
