Hammers help Town

WEST HAM are helping Town prepare for tomorrow’s match at Leyton Orient.
Not for the first time this season, Town are using The Hammers’ academy facilities to go through their final training for the Brisbane Road clash.
“West Ham United and the groundsman at their academy have been very good to us and I know (assistant manager) Mervyn Day very well because he was my roommate when we played at Leeds,” said Ritchie.
“Last time we were down there we booked in straight away for this match, because it’s ideal for what we want.
“They look after us very well, so I just put in a courtesy call to Mervyn and told him we were on our way!”
