Physio Lee’s back on duty

LONG-SERVING Town physio Lee Martin will be back in the dug-out tonight after missing Saturday’s match at Leyton Orient through illness.

Sam Woods, who is part of Town’s Academy set-up, stepped in at Brisbane Road, where Town triumphed 1-0 through Luke Beckett’s 11th goal of the season.

Goalkeeper Matt Glennon took a knock to the knee and Nathan Clarke suffered a mouth injury in London, but both will be fit for tonight.

So will Joe Skarz, who missed out on a squad spot at Orient because of calf and ankle problems.

Skarz’s absence led to a first appearance in the 16 since September for Aaron Hardy.

The news on centre-back David Mirfin (back) is less encouraging, with the 22-year-old not yet ready for a return to the frame.

Tonight’s clash is part of a busy League I programme, with leaders Swansea attempting to bounce back from Friday’s shock home defeat by Millwall when they host Tranmere.

Second-placed Doncaster are at home to Gillingham.

Former Town loan man Richard Keogh has joined Cheltenham from Bristol City for a month’s loan.

Fixtures: Carlisle v Luton, Crewe v Port Vale, Doncaster v Gillingham, Hartlepool v Town, Leeds v Cheltenham, Leyton Orient v Swindon, Oldham v Bournemouth, Southend v Nottingham Forest, Swansea v Tranmere, Walsall v Brighton, Yeovil v Millwall.

Tomorrow: Bristol Rovers v Northampton.
