Halifax Town Football Club have filed notice of their intent to enter administration.

The consortium attempting to buy the club have filed the notice, which will go before the courts on March 26.

Administration would mean a 10-point deduction for the Shaymen, who are currently 12 points above the Blue Square Premier relegation zone.
