ANDY RITCHIE says he’s happy with right-hand men John Dungworth and Martyn Booty – but hasn’t ruled out adding to his backroom staff in the close-season.
Town’s manager, who worked with his former Oldham teammate Rick Holden at Barnsley, inherited the pair when he was appointed 11 months ago.
Former Town striker and academy coach Dungworth became first-team coach in succession to Terry Yorath partway through last season. He is also in charge of the reserves
Booty originally joined Town as a player and moved into coaching under former manager Peter Jackson, who signed him from Chesterfield in 2003.
“I’m perfectly happy with the way the three of us work together,” said Ritchie. “We get on well and bounce ideas off each other.
“But I wouldn’t rule out adding another coach. Perhaps it would give all three of us a bit of a pep-up.”
Holden, 43, has his own physiotherapy practice on the Isle of Man.
