Hutchings: 'I want the job'

CHRIS HUTCHINGS has confirmed he would be interested in becoming Town’s next manager.

The 50-year-old ex-Wigan and Bradford boss, who lives near Holmfirth, said: “I’m a local lad who played for Town so I would like to think I’ve got an idea of what the fans expect.

“It’s an excellent club with a great ground and facilities, and there is certainly the potential to take them higher.

“I’m out of work at the moment and the job is certainly of interest to me.”

Hutchings played a part in four promotions at Wigan and Bradford and his managerial experience is all in the top flight.
