Stan Ternent column: I firmly believe we will be successful!

NOBODY is happy with our position in the league table, but rest assured, everyone is working as hard as possible to put things right.
We’ve got a good set of players at this club and the camaraderie is excellent, and in my view, we have what it takes to win promotion.
People might laugh when they see that we’re bottom of the table, but that’s my genuine opinion.
It’s important to remember it’s still very early days in terms of the season as a whole, and with the number of new players I’ve brought in, things are still settling down.
When I won promotion from what is now League II with Bury, we only got only five points from the first five games.
That’s what we’ll have if we can get that first league win under our belts down at Cheltenham tomorrow, and that’s obviously our aim.
Going into the game, we have two points, one less than them, while the leaders have 10, so a couple of victories can soon alter things.
We have had periods in most of our matches so far where we’ve played as I wanted us to – most recently, for the bulk of the Carling Cup game against Sheffield United and for the opening stages down at Millwall last week.
