Town's Parker on goal trail

KEIGAN PARKER rescued three points for Town with his first goal in 17 months and beamed: “What a great feeling!”
The 26-year-old striker earned Stan Ternent’s side only their second home league win of the campaign with a spectacular late curler before being sent-off for a second yellow card.
The dismissal will cost him a ban when Port Vale visit in the FA Cup first round on Saturday, but Parker was more than happy just to have clinched the 3-2 win over Crewe after some “edgy” moments.
“I was delighted with the goal, but it was more important to grab the three points,” said Parker, who last notched in the 2007 play-off final for Blackpool at Wembley.
