JIM GOODWIN will be absent when Town try to build on their derby win at Leeds against Brighton on the South coast on Saturday.
The Irishman, who celebrates his 27th birthday on Thursday, picked up a fifth booking of the season at Elland Road, so must serve a one-match ban.
The ex-Scunthorpe man was yellow carded for a late tackle on Jermaine Beckford in the 78th minute.
Town had two other players cautioned by top-level referee Mark Halsey – Nathan Clarke and goalscorer Michael Collins.
