MICHAEL COLLINS looked back at his dramatic winning goal at Leeds and beamed: “That’s my best moment in football so far – without a doubt.”
Town’s 22-year-old midfielder volleyed home substitute Danny Cadamarteri’s cross one minute and 52 seconds into stoppage time to seal a sweet 2-1 derby success.
Town had trailed to a fourth-minute goal by Robert Snodgrass, but Joe Skarz’s leveller 27 seconds into the second half silenced home fans in a bumper 32,028 crowd.
It was caretaker boss Gerry Murphy’s second win over Leeds, but Town’s first triumph at Elland Road since Boxing Day 1983 and lifted them to 14th in League I.
