Huddersfield Town's Tom Clarke stays at Bradford

TOM CLARKE was today starting a second month on loan at Bradford City – and could face Leyton Orient when the Londoners return to West Yorkshire for an FA Cup second-round tie on Saturday.
While Town loanee Steve Jones is now back at Burnley, caretaker manager Gerry Murphy agreed to 20-year-old Clarke remaining at Valley Parade.
“It’s good for Tom and ourselves that he is getting first-team football over at Bradford,” explained Murphy.
“Because the deal is now in its second month, we have a 24-hour recall facility, so we can get Tom back if we need to.”
The initial move was set up by former manager Stan Ternent, who handed Clarke just one Town appearance – in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy defeat at Darlington.
The former England junior cap, who had a spell on loan at Halifax last season, made his fourth Bradford start and sixth Bantams appearance in all in last night’s 3-2 home win over Chesterfield.
