Town's Flynn aiming for promotion on two fronts

YOU can’t keep Michael Flynn down for long.
Town’s energetic midfielder admits he was surprised and a little disappointed to be allowed to go out on loan to Darlington.
But having had time to digest the development – and train with his temporary teammates in the North-East – the 28-year-old Welshman is thinking about the positives.
With the Quakers third in League II ahead of today’s home clash with Rochdale, Flynn said: “I’ve got the chance to help two teams win promotion in the same season, and that’s what I’ll be striving to do.
“Gerry Murphy has told me the sole purpose of the loan is to get my fitness up to scratch, and I certainly don’t see this as the end of my time at Town, far from it.
“I’m contracted to the end of next season, I really enjoy being around the place, I believe the club can go places and I want to be part of the story.”
