Murphy hails both his goalkeepers

“We didn’t pass the ball as well as we have been doing, but we defended well and we had little chance to stop such a superb strike by Nicholls.

“People were willing to put their bodies on the line when we needed to and we’ve come a long way in the last few weeks.

“The winner was a great finish by Michael and it was a nice back-heel by Ian Craney to put the ball into his path. Michael has got into the habit of scoring and it shows we are playing football in the right places at the right times.

“I’m really pleased with the way the lads are trying to play the game.”
